In 2009, Nestle France was trying to figure out how to provide marketing support and increase awareness for it’s portfolio of brands in mobile space.

In the recipes of this widely successful Nestle mobile app one can find many ingredients from it’s portfolio of brands. Recipes can be sorted by different criteria, from type of meal to user ratings. There are also discounts and special offers on Nestle products, geo-targeted to user’s location.

The app was a runaway success for Nestle, taking first place in the “lifestyle” section of French App Store, and second position in French Top Apps rating. The mobile cook book also made it into top 5 most popular apps in Belgium, Sweden, Luxemburg, and Senegal.
